You won't find it served in restaurants (unless they're US-themed), but you may happen across bottles of Lipton or Nestea in corner shops.

Very few restaurants or cafes serve it here as Lola says.  Morrisons sells big bottles of the Liptons though and Lidl sells big cartons of some German brand. I bought the lemon one once, it was nice, not as sweet as the Lipton but my husband found it too lemony.  We usually just make our own.

You'll probably have to do what I usually do at restaurants.. Ask for a cup of tea and a glass full of ice.

Best cold beverage ever, and the world's biggest tea-drinking nation doesn't drink it.

I make my own. That bottled stuff is ick.

Cold (bottled) green tea from a vending machine is the best thing in the world!  Especially when the machines are at the top of fairly remote mountains... ah, Japan.

If you want iced tea or lemonade in the UK, though, get used to making your own.  Asking for ice with your tea is a great idea!

Or you could just try new things seeing as you'll be visiting a different country...

Iced tea is my favorite cold drink and sadly they don't sell it at restaurants. A little coffee shop in Sheffield had iced tea on the menu. I got very excited, but it wasn't real iced tea. It was slightly fizzy. I have no idea how they made it. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't what I was craving! I make my own at home.

I've seen Lipton peach or lemon iced tea in plastic bottles but I personally think it tastes vile.

I can't live without it, so I get my mom to ship Luzianne or Lipton iced-tea bags two or three times a year and use Twinnings English breakfast tea if I run out.

I'm drinking some right now.... I did bring my own large tea jug when I shipped my stuff over.  I'm sure you can find them, but I'm pretty particular about making my tea and it was well worth it.  I didn't bother when I was visiting or here for just 6 months, but now it's home so I always have some made.
had a bit of a wobble.

I remember craving iced tea when I was pregnant with DD.  I just ordered some Lipton from Skyco and made my own.

why is it that lipton's is so vile as a hot tea, but it's the only way to go for iced tea?

i'd give a kidney for a huge glass of cracker barrel's unsweetened iced tea right now!

Iced tea is my favorite too.  I think the bottled stuff is just too sweet, but I do love Honest Tea, especially the Peach olalong.

I just remembered they serve iced tea at Wagamamas, their own peach flavour, it's delicious, not sickly sweet like the one you get at the supermarket.
