I LOVE MY DH!!!

Twice before he has spoken as a guest lecturer for a cruise line (2001 and 2004) and he just reconnected with the entertainment director and they said 'we'd love to have you come speak - what would you prefer, Singapore to Bombay or Bombay to Istanbul?'

YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY

Guest lecturer = 14 day free cruise, free flights from wherever we are to the point of embarkation and back home, for both him and ME!!

Last time we went it was sooooo brill - you get everything free except drinks and souvenirs but even those you get at a staff discount.  And we met such awesome people.  I cannot wait!!! 

I just checked the itinerary - goes to Oman, Egypt, and Istanbul.  How cool - I've never been to any of those places before!

Finally my years of suffering as wife of an unemployed PhD are paying off!  ;)

His PhD is in South Asia so he'll be lecturing on some sort of topical issues related to India (as the cruise stops there) - probably something like 'India's relationship with the US' or 'the relationship between India and Pakistan'.  Something that the people would find interesting.  Suggestions are welcome!
