I really thought we were going to get a Wii for Christmas, but now DH has asked for an Xbox 360 elite!   [smiley=bigcry.gif]

I can't play any of the normal console games.  Why, oh, why, did my BIL have to tell him how much he loves his xbox?!?!

You could always rent some games and see what you like.  Or sell your Wii to me :).

I keep telling my bf to sell it! The new ones on Amazon are going for double what he paid for his! I have no idea why the price has gone up, but I wish he'd agree to get rid of his!

The price has gone up because of demand. Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft all do it to cause demand which is basically free marketing for the product. It's actually quite a clever way to market your product even though it annoys a lot people.

As for Cooking Mama. I LOVE it but if the Wii bores you, I guarantee this won't be your cup of tea. I wholeheartedly say buy Super Mario Galaxy. What a clever piece of work!!!! :)

I am hoping to get Super Mario Galaxy today, hope it holds up to my great expectations of it over Raymond's Raving Rabbids 2.

there is no worse sight than watching your mid 30's husband jamming out with a plastic guitar, but my husband loves his. I just leave the room when he plays. ;)

other than that we love the Wii, esp Raving Rabbids because not all the games are skill based (so he can't win them all).

I miss my Nintendo GameCube...yeah, it's out dated, I know. The saddest thing ever was to wander around the various stores in the US when I went home to see my family for holiday and not see a single game for it. Ebay here I come. I will have a copy of MarioKart DoubleDash!  Does anyone know if they've come out with a MarioKart for Wii yet?

You can buy the old versions online for your WII, my friend has Super Mario Kart from the SNES system.

Awwww, SNES.

How much are the old games to download?  What would super mario kart cost to download to the Wii?
And the world first spoke to me in Sensurround

I saw 2,000 Wii points on sale for 14.99 at Game and I believe games for the SNES are 800 points.

Except all I see on the site is Mario Kart 64, so maybe that is what my friend had and not Super Mario Kart.  Weak.

64 games are 1000 points each, so about 7.50 for that game.
