I'll be relocating from Florida to London in November.  I'm very thankful to have stumbled upon this website - the information here has been invaluable!

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome!

Snow boots?  Seriously?  I didn't think it snowed that much.  Let me add that to the list of "Things I've never had to buy before in my life and I'm not even sure how to get".  This is an ever growing list!

It doesn't really snow that much, but it does rain and mist and gets very icy on the pavement.  I wear my "snow boots" (with great traction and insulation) from about September through April - mostly to and from work - because of the rain/ice/snow.  I just feel safer!

last winter was pretty nice, just cool and rainy

i'm from TX orginaly but lived in Ft. Lauderdale for 6 years before moving here. I live in HIgh Wycombe, a little West of London.

bring some A1sauce
