Anyone find any information when it's coming to the UK?

I keep seeing the trailer every time I go to the cinema with no information on its' arrival. It looks like a lovely film and now the stars of it have been on BBC Breakfast to remind me of it again....

Can't seem to navigate the website to find the information, either!  :(

It is having a limited run at the Showroom cinema in Sheffield (I wish Leeds had a cinema like this one) and in Manchester (don't know the cinema), but it is a sweet Irish film. I really recommend it.

glen hansard is sooo purty.

when i was 18, i was studying in dublin. i was walking into bewley's on grafton & he was walking out. this was right after 'the commitments'. i recognised him from that & followed him down grafton singing 'mustang sally'. he should have punched me in the teeth, but instead he turned around, giggled and told me that was a really bad introduction.

i apologised about 10 years later at a frames gig in chicago.  ;D

Jealous!  ;D

Just bought the CD and related CDs for hubby. Worth the extra trek for sure.

I believe it is released in the UK, well I thought it said October when I was looking for it in September, though maybe it was November.

It is on now in limited cinemas in the UK and I can't urge anyone enough to see this little gem of a film.

Very worth it if it is playing in Birmingham - maybe you'll have better luck finding release information on the website than me:

Love, love, love this film!  We rented it and I watched it (and cried my eyes out) twice before returning it.  Downloaded the album from itunes and then bought the video at Borders and watched it with my mom for the third time!  I am telling as many people as I can about this movie.  Such a great story and such beautiful music!  Hope it comes to the UK soon!

yes  ;D ;D

I saw it in London last year. I was pleasantly surprised for a 'modern musical.' I had no idea what to expect.

I really like the soundtrack too. You can hear it on the website.

That is so awesome and so well deserved!  I've been trying to tell Dave that he needs to watch this film, if not for the music alone.

I was so excited that they won but felt so bad for Merketa when she got cut off.  They brought her back out after the commercial and she gave one of the best speeches if the night!  Here are the speeches:
