My DH would love this, however we are in Inverness, boo. I think he needs to start his own team up here.

Thanks but still about 4 hours on the train each way!!  ;D  But we may be moving back down south before next season anyway so hopefully we'll be near a team then - and a little league for our son.

This is one sport we need to see more of in the UK. It was thriving in the early 20th century. Then it just peetered out.

My fiancee got me into baseball just in time for the 2005 World Series. I've been a fan ever since. Go Braves!

My step son is nearly three and he has a great swing on him. I would submit a photo but I don't know whether we are allowed... and I don't want the Y*nk** farm system trying to poach him.

Anyone in South Yorkshire - I play for Sheffield (previously Barnsley) Strikers.

We start pre season training Feb 10th (indoor) - or maybe I should call it Spring Training!

:)

I'm down in Kent. When we're all settled down here I'm thinking about taking a coaching course and maybe setting up a team down in Kent. We're about 20 minutes away from Tonbridge. The Bobcats are based there. We're also close to where the Croydon Pirates play.

Does anyone else get mlb.tv? I got it last season and really enjoyed it. I'm planning on getting the better deal this season.

Thank God for day games on the east coast... and night games on the west coast.

Ah, the Mariners. I went to Seattle back in April 2006 and fell in love with the place. I'm planning on moving there sometime in my life! ;)

Looks like a nice website.
