this is cool chile... it's just as good as the ibarra and easier to get!

I am not too wild about the cocoa nibs. I like the idea but the size throws me off... not quite big enough to leave in the bottom but too big to swallow.

hmm, might have to diliute the milk I have and give it another go.

A really good quality vanilla ice cream topped with a hot fudge sauce flavored with amaretto.

Just to tease the animals--I made sopaipillas Sunday night! They were fab!  ;D

Unfortunately this means I still have a pot of oil sitting in the kitchen, waiting for me to figure out how to dispose of it... :P

By the way, does anyone have a good flan recipe? I've been thinking I'd like to learn to make it.

I was telling my husband the other night about Horchata, but for the life of me I could not remember the name...complete brain fart moment.  I love it though!  Does anyone have a good recipe for this, pretty please :-*

My son LOVED the stuff, on one of our visits home, he was two and half at the time. I looked and looked, and just could NOT find a decent recipe for it. Sounds like getting the instant packages of it from home is the way to go.

Anything with chocolate and cinnamon.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon
