this is cool chile... it's just as good as the ibarra and easier to get!

I am not too wild about the cocoa nibs. I like the idea but the size throws me off... not quite big enough to leave in the bottom but too big to swallow.

OMG I sooooooo want a churro right now!!  And horchata.  Mmm... horchata.

A really good quality vanilla ice cream topped with a hot fudge sauce flavored with amaretto.

I've got a couple of envelopes of instant horchata that i bought last time i was in the states... you've got me thinking about making that now!

Just to tease the animals--I made sopaipillas Sunday night! They were fab! 

Unfortunately this means I still have a pot of oil sitting in the kitchen, waiting for me to figure out how to dispose of it...

By the way, does anyone have a good flan recipe? I've been thinking I'd like to learn to make it.

My son LOVED the stuff, on one of our visits home, he was two and half at the time. I looked and looked, and just could NOT find a decent recipe for it. Sounds like getting the instant packages of it from home is the way to go.
