Ah, yes, I wish I had arranged that with them as well (delivery) but we were desperately trying to save some money somewhere.

I did make it!  I arrived last Thursday.  Have a job interview in Manchester tomorrow.  Hopefully, I will land something soon so we can get out of MIL's house.  So, are you here to stay now?

Well, even though I wasn't sure if I or the company was paying for the shipping at the time that I booked it, it was one thing that I knew would be worth it. Fortunately for me, my company was pliable to my negotiations for a relocation package, and they picked up almost every expense associated with our move. In fact, I have to go and dig through my receipts looking for some qualifying expenses, because I'm still shy of the $ limit they set. :)

I've been here since Oct 21. We signed a lease and picked up the keys to our rental property on Oct 22. As much as my wife loves my parents, she had been living there with both kids, and without me, for 7 weeks at that point. So quityerbitchin.  :D
