Flexicover Direct travel insurance?

Hello--

I am looking into an annual travel insurance policy for my husband and I and used the website www.moneysupermarket.com to compare various offers. The best looking offer both price and cover-wise is from a company called Flexicover Direct underwritten by Europ Assistance Holdings.

Has anyone had good or bad experience with this company? They seem very inexpensive (39.95)and offer quite a lot of cover.

my boyfriend has had a policy with them for a year.  i just opened another for me and a will be renewing the one for him in a few weeks.

since we havn't had to claim for anything i can't comment on them. 

however, one point that i found annoying is that if you buy a joint policy, but only one of you is travelling, you must notify them.  i travel 100 days a year, so that wouldn't have been feasible.  even though joint was cheaper than me + him seperately, I opted to insure us seperately.

Sorry, no experience with them, but DH & I have cover with our HSBC Plus account.  (DH works for the bank so we get it half price.)

Its £12.95 per mo - if you're new its half price for the first 6 months.  It covers all trips up to 2 month periods per trip.  Also, you don't get charged anything extra for making purchases or taking out cash in foreign locations and it covers you, your spouse / partner and any children up to 18 years old...
