Oh forget sugar and carrots! Adding chocolate to chili is lovely!  Even better chili chocolate from South Devon Chili Farm!

I make an excellent turkey pumpkin chili.  I used to like green peppers in my chili, but I can't eat them now, so they get left out.

served with plenty of oyster crackers (as shown in my avatar).
I'm lucky to be going to see family next year.  The first place I'm going to eat at is Skyline Chili.

I'm lucky to be going to see family next year.  The first place I'm going to eat at is Skyline Chili.

Last time we were over in the US, we ate at Skyline and brought back about 8 packets of the "powder" mix they sell to make the chili at home.  I was tempted to buy the already-tinned chili...certainly couldn't bring the frozen ready-meals on the plane!  (Though I have brought back over Pilsbury Cinnamon Rolls from the refrigerated section...).

I do miss Skyline - especially the one we ate at.  Such friendly people and a real old fashioned diner style atmosphere.  But not in a contrived way.  Felt like it had always been there.
