Personally, I think her life won't straighten out until she throws away those horrid "ballet" shoes she insists on wearing... ::)   ;)

[smiley=laugh4.gif] [smiley=laugh4.gif] [smiley=laugh4.gif] Why did I know you would mention that!

I hate hearing stories about Amy. She is so incredibly talented and she's digging herself and early grave. What a waste!

I really don't know how anyone can even think her "talent" equals her inability to be a professional anymore.  Who cares if she can sing well, if she can't bring herself to perform, or even behave like an adult?    ::)

She wouldn't be the first performer to turn up pissed/stoned/off their nut though would she?

I'm thinking it will be the best thing for her if her hubby gets banged up for a few years, perhaps she'll sort herself out then.

That's if she turns up at all...really, it's not like she's only done this once.  She (and other of this new generation of "performers") seems to think that she doesn't owe the public who actually spend their money on tickets to see her perform live, the courtesy of actually providing value for money - or anything at all!

That's why I don't spend my money on any of it any more!!! I went off gigs in a big way when I saw the Lemonheads mid 90s when Evan Dando was out of his tree. I got very fussy about what I spent my money on after that.  But as for Amy Winehouse, people must surely know what they are in for, they can hardly complain!

I go to gigs a lot, but would never pay to see Winehouse or Docherty, simply ebcause it will only be 50/50 as to whether they will actually turn up (actually Pete is getting a bit better) and if they will be any good if they do.

I feel very sorry for Winehouse actually. I think she'll be a wreck if her husband gets sent down, which is probably one of the reasons he resorted to trying to fix the trial (if he indeed did).  She has amazing talent, but is squandering it.  Then again, it's nothing new.

Her brother was on GMTV today, he reckons she is more in control than the media portrays her to be. Righto ...

He's quite a sensible chap - we went to the same school (though a few years apart) and have some mutual friends.

Her good shoes might be lost in that rats nest of hair.  ;D
