Rabbits
« on: November 12, 2007, 01:25:11 PM »
I can't find anything on line about being able to bring a rabbit from the UK back to the US. We may move back this next summer/autumn and I would love to bring our bunny back. He is up to date on all of his shots, but I don't know if the US will allow a rabbit from here into the country.

Any advice?

I don't see why not.  I foster for a US rabbit rescue and know we've got a member who brought her pair of rabbits from The Netherlands to the US without any problems at all.

The one thing you will notice in the US is that we don't vaccinate rabbits.  The last time I read anything on rabbits in the UK, it was normal for them to get a couple of vaccines.  I can check around on some of the Yahoo-based rabbit lists if you like. I know that Bunny-Rabbit-Mail has members from the UK and some European countries.
