Mint Penguins
« on: November 17, 2007, 06:36:57 PM »
I bought some Penguin biscuits for the kids' lunches today. I bought the variety pack by mistake which included milk choc, mint and orange. I tried a mint one and it was lovely! Nearly the same as Girl Scout Thin Mints!

I went out and bought some yesterday - they're delish!  They definitely have more chocolate to them!  I almost like them more than Thin Mints!   ;)

Put them in the freezer, Pebs.

Then crush them over ice cream and add creme liquor.

Bliss.

Sorry to revive, but if you're looking for a closer substitute to Thin Mints try Sainsbury's Mint Polar's.  They're the generic substitute for Mint Penguins, but they're closer tasting to Thin Mints!   ;D
