Felt, ribbon, buttons, fabric remnants, snickers bar, some treats from M&S.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

The third and hopefully final jacket. I bought two previous ones in the wrong size. I can't help it she seems to grow 6 inches every few days.

Tickets to a Billy Bragg concert in November!  :)

(which I really needed to cheer me up, 'cause it's been the crappiest crappy crap-crap week ever since I returned to work on Tuesday)
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

- from Anthem, by Leonard Cohen (b 1934)

I completely understand!  Believe me.  It's an essential through here, and once we had kids in Edinburgh, it made life about 100x easier.
