Loads of good stuff today!

Returned my suit and with that cash I bought alcohol.  Hee!  For our party next week.  Got a case of Heineken, a bottle of rum, three bottles of white, a bottle of red, and two bottles of moscato d'asti for us (not for the party).

Also got a retro-ish tray, two vintage bakeware dishes, and a glass tray at Goodwill.

Got another set of the martini glasses I had to return and some tights at Kohl's.

And a turtle calendar for my sister for Christmas.

Yay!

What time should I be there, and what can I bring? :D

I went & dropped some dosh this evening after work - but for DH.  Well his birthday is coming up in October, but as this was all stuff he really needed - I went ahead & gave it to him tonight.  A lightweight fleece, a Mac-in-a-Sac (one for each of us), and a new wallet - which he desperately, desperately needed because he was still using the one he had that had disintegrated into pieces!  ::)

Gaaaaaah!  Why won't this man go shopping for himself?!  He also needs:  a new pair of shoes for work (the ones he has are knackered, falling apart & they reek!), new work trousers (the ones he has are looking seriously scruffy), and a new pair of walking boots.  Thing is - he really needs to be there to try that kind of stuff on & pick out what he wants.  So I couldn't get those things.

I have a few small things put aside so he will still have something to actually open on his birthday though.

I bought a load of stuff in the Sainsbury's clothing sale today. A fleece for myself and 3 pairs of school uniform trousers & some PE tshirts for my son. Oh and a pair of black cotton trousers for myself from M&S. And a newspaper. And lunch - does lunch  count? And a Thunderball ticket. (I've never done Thunderball before, but if I win you won't see me for dust!).

We are married to the same man. At the very least they are related. I finally convinced him to get some new work shoes when I could smell them from across the room. And his work trousers are too big for him since he's lost weight, so now he looks like he has old-man butt. I tried to get him to shop for trousers this weekend, but no dice. ::)  I told him he has a nice butt and he needs to show off his goods!  :P

Definitely!  Steve's position is that as long as it's not in total rags, he 'already has one that's perfectly good' so why bother to go shopping?!  Grrrrrrrr.  :-\\\\

Whoa...bit of a spree today - mostly for me...Superdrug bits & bobs (health & beauty boring stuff).  A winter hat to match my wool coat & an umbrella from TK Maxx.  The really lush Clarins self-tanner stuff and a little cleaning kit for my new specs - both these I got for free with my Boots points - yay!  From Lush - Imperialis moisturiser and Silky Underwear Dusting Powder.  From M&S - a new handbag, new wallet, a colorful scarf/pashmina thingie, and 2 T-shirt bras in a pack for only £15.

Loads more groceries for the party.  Somehow we seem to have nearly 30 people coming...

And some candle holders from the Goodwill.

Yum! I grew up near an orchard and loved stopping there to get apples. That's one of my favorite childhood memories.  ;D

The last thing I bought was lunch at Pizza Milano.
