The Pioneer Woman's cookbook and a craft magazine.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

A big pile of clothes for DSS and DSD. For some reason they arrived at our house with a suitcase full of trousers that were too small.  :P

I got up bright and early to return my coat to John Lewis-while there I bought the 8 year old a bunch of clothes, most were reduced to £3.  :)

YAY

My DH has never been to IKEA - boy is he in for it! That is the first place we are hitting up for storage things when I get there!

Groceries and a Wii Nunchuck for under £10 from Tesco's.

He he, it can be hit or miss - just like any place, but when you're not particularly bothered on colour at times you can really get some good bargains (aside from the usual).  I mean you get what you pay for, but some things are suprisingly good value and I absolutely cannot fault their children's range for food and toys (so far).   ;)

I got a pair of those MBT shoes. They are not extremely attractive, but they are incredibly comfortable to walk in! Even though they were on sale, they're probably the most expensive shoes I've ever bought.  :-X

After a day of not buying anything (Jan 1), I went a little crazy and bought a bunch of clothes yesterday.  And a can of Barkeeper's Friend for stainless steel pots.
