500ml bottle of Paul Mitchell Awapuhi shampoo, a chunck of Porridge soap from Lush and a body sponge...I love going shopping with my girlfriends, I spoil myself a little.
I had a similar day today!  I never would have even walked into Lush if I hadn't been with a girlfriend, but because we did, I bought my first Lush product ever--a facial wash called "Angels on Bare Skin".

Elsewhere in town, I also bought a packet of mixed dried beans, a new age-y looking card with a fairy / angel playing a harp on it, and some vegetarian sausages I've never tried before, and some Oriental snack mix.

I use that - it's fab!  :)

Good to know!  I just needed something gentle to clean my face and not too drying or moisturizing.  Seems to be right in the middle, so that's good.

I did a stock-up today on health & beauty stuff, boring stuff like shower gel, hubby's deodorant, toothpaste, etc.  I got a BIG bag of stuff like that at Wilco's for less than a tenner - everything was less than half the normal price I'd have paid at SuperDrug or Boots or somewhere like that.  Score!  :)

Stuff for dinner, a People magazine, a mother's day card so I won't come up short in May, and a card for DH.

Our toaster packed it in a couple weeks ago - just stopped working for no apparent reason.  So I bought a new toaster at Argos today - 2-slice Russell Hobbs, £28.  More than I wanted to pay, but it had the best customer reviews from among the toasters I was looking at.  Now I hope it lasts longer than the one we had (we'd had it about 5 years), or next time I'll be getting a dirt cheap one.

I was shopping with a friend once and they were willing to pay 100GBP for a freakin' toaster!!  :o  I guess toast was serious business around their house.

Now that's just silly, IMO.  For that price, the toaster ought to cook an entire meal for you.  And I thought £28 was a lot!
