I have a hurty tooth and I haven't really eaten much in the last three days, so I got myself a squishy Taco Bell Burrito and some red wine (for the pain  ;)) on my way home from rehearsal.  It was a good choice.   ;D

Right, so I don't go shopping very often, and I had a bit of a spree yesterday.  It took me until now to post this because I had serious retail fatigue & was struggling to remember at the end of the day yesterday what I had purchased.

Evans was actually not too bad yesterday (I know sometimes it is dire!), I got:

  • A blue tie dye gypsy skirt on sale for £20.
  • A floral sleeveless top.
  • A silvery little short-sleeve cardie to go with the top, that has just a bit of sparkly in it.
  • A floral on black dress that comes just above my knee & I think I might get some (gasp!) leggings to go with it.  But not to worry, it's long enough - I shall not be wearing the leggings as pants so my a*s won't be in anyone's face (wouldn't be a pretty sight!).  Otherwise, trousers under it.  Because it's just slightly above my knee, I think it does need something besides tights (or bare legs).
  • Pair of linen-blend crinkly kinda trousers.  My least favourite purchase, but I really needed some trousers & as long as they have a long top or dress over them, they'll be okay.  For whatever reason, I usually just *hate* the trousers that I find here in the UK.  I think it's something to do with the cut of them, because they are making higher waisted ones now - that used to be a problem.  In the US, I usually get one or two specific kinds of trousers (at JC Penney usually) & I just can't find anything that fits like them here.

I bought a couple of scarves at M&S - one is silk & very pretty floral.  The other was on sale for £5 - yay!  I got these in case I want (or need) them when we go to Morocco in October.

(The summer clearance sales are on now girls!)

Bought some Lush goodies.  Trialling a couple of the newer solid shampoos, again with a view to our trip in October.  Plus my Angels on Bare Skin facial cleanser which I was out of.  The Dorothy bubble bar.  I think there might have been something else - have a hard time restraining myself when I go there!  :-[  I did get a couple of free samples for some other shampoo or conditioner things.

And I got a couple little things for a get-together I'm hosting tomorrow afternoon.  :)

(Now I really need to sort out all my other clothes & get to charity shopping some, because I just don't have any idea these days what is located where in this house!  I was looking for my Gok Wan magic knickers yesterday & my goodness - where have those got to?  It's a mystery!  :D)
