I went into the city centre and got some red lentils and hummus and the health food shop, ginger and Udon noodles at the Chinese market, and hair color at Boots.

A few finds from my shop:

A tin whistle (gonna try to play it!), a baseball-style t-shirt (new with the tags still on!) that says "Manhattan '69" for hubby, and a purple SoulCal brand hoodie / sweater.

From Amazon: 2 kids' books on Thanksgiving for the nursery. Was meant to be one, but, oh well. One will probably come before the other(our posties are having issues at the moment), so, it'll be better. And Jack Johnson's Curious George soundtrack. Because I love Jack Johnson, and I'd love to hear his music at work. And I want to introduce the kids and staff to him. Anything's gotta be better than the music that we have now!

From the newsagent today: The December issue of Cosmo. Not quite as big as the one from the States, but, I still like looking at all of the pretty, over priced products that I can probably find at charity shops on my walks through town. :D

A Christmas gift for my dad at the Sherlock Holmes museum.  I think he'll love it.

There's a Sherlock Holmes museum?  My hubby would love that!  Is it in York?

I know there's one in London and I think it's on Baker Street. My parents went to it when they visited London the first time and my dad was in HEAVEN!  :D

Yes, I think she may have gotten it at the one in London.
