Ummm, err, lots of Spanx tights :).  I think they'll make it so I can go back to wearing more skirts and hopefully also get me back into my nicer trousers.  Not weight wise, really, but more that it's still cold!

Yay! Does he also know about "Captain Underpants"?  They are SO MUCH fun. And short chapters too, if/when he wants chapter books. There is also the picture book "Aliens love Underpants" which is HILARIOUS, even if he's past the picture book stage.

I patronized three little independent shops today in my neighborhood.  I got veggies and fruit at the greengrocer, adzuki beans at the new tiny deli, and fresh ciabatta bread at the other deli!

I went to Casa Mexico at lunchtime and stocked up:

2x 1kg masa harina
1kg black beans
dried ancho chillies
epazote
tin of chipotle en adobo
a little earthenware salsa bowl (my impulse buy)

And the till lady threw in some weird Mexican sweet for me to try after we got to talking. :P
