Yesterday, at half past four the eleven year old 'remembered' that she's supposed to dress up as Oliver Twist today for school.  Don't ask me why.  Schools do these things just to keep parents on their toes. 
We ended up with a tweed fedora and the most hideous sweater vest ever knitted.  But it'll do.
