Lots of food in Lidl, swim costume for Aillidh in Primark and cheap sunglasses, paddle pool and swim costume in Woolie's, some goodies for me and Garnier Rapido suncreen for the girls in Boots, car stuff in Halfords and a book in WH Smith.

It was a good day!

I bought the kids a paddling pool too today! I also know of one other expat who did also. Anyone else buy paddling pools today?

bought tickets for my friend Sandra and I to go to a 'fashion and beauty night' in the pub at our work.  There will be a wardrobe consultant from John Lewis and beauty therapists from a salon giving demonstrations and advice... plus there will be nibbles & bubbly!  :)
