hmm.... and you bought this for the kids?????

Ah, see, hence the book AND the pool!

In my fantasy, the kids will play nicely in the paddle pool whilst Mummy sunbathes and reads a book on a towel next to them.

Lidl had beach shelters for a fiver, so again, it will provide shelter and refreshment for nicely tired girls whilst Mummy continues to read her Ian Rankin book.

Haahaahahaa.

Groceries.

I am on the hunt for a hard sided pool like the ones that used to sit outside of K-mart and Wal-Mart, but I can't find them here, anyone have any ideas?

An iPod Shuffle, to use when I'm cycling.  Now that it's light in the morning, I'm going to try to get out early before there's much traffic.

Chicken fillets
He looked haggard and careworn, like a Borgia who has suddenly remembered that he has forgotten to shove cyanide in the consomme, and the dinner-gong due any moment.

I bought my friend a glass of wine this afternoon, went to lunch with the same friend, a soft serve ice cream cone with a Flake in it, & 2 votive candle holders.

Netting and Blu-Tac to keep the bugs outside where they belong.  It isn't pretty though.
