You can't.  The Herta ones are fairly close in taste.

i would never, ever, in a hundred years, even dream of buying those!

mainly because my auntie in CA used to always give us those horrible little mealy vienna sausages from a tin when i was little, and they used to give me the boak.

i imagine any tinned hot dog to be just the same as those vienna sausages...  :-X

I went to a Guide camp here and they served them for supper (before bed) and the girls were so excited about it.  I could not bring myself to eat them.  It made me nauseous just looking at them.

Costco does the most delicious American Style hot dogs. They come in a pack of 5, they are about 8 inches long and they are GORGEOUS. They are called Chicago Style dogs or something and they cost less than £3 for a pack. I love them!!

£3 for 5 hot dogs?  That wouldn't go very far in my family...

I HATED vienna sausages when I was a kid.  My brother loved them, so they were in the house.  But I could never be hungry enough to eat them...ick!

Are they the same hotdogs that they serve on their at their "restaurant"?  If so I think I'll need to make a trip back to get some.  Do they also sell the buns that they can fit into?   ;D

They are the ones they serve in their cafe bit!

No, we use Sub buns from Morrisons, they are gorgeous. We cook them on the BBQ with Gherkin Relish and mustard. I absofruitly love them. A taste of home!
