I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here
« on: November 21, 2007, 11:31:48 PM »
Is anyone else watching, or am the only one absolutely obsessed with it? Tonight was so exciting that I'm sure I won't be able to sleep!!

Yes, I'm a loser.

ME!!!   ;D

And no, you're not a loser (If you are, then I am too and I'm happy to join the loser club!)

I'm loving it this year.  Favourite by far is Janice and least favourite by a mile is Lynn.  I feel really sorry for Marc Bannerman...his girlfriend already flew home, he looked gutted when Ant & Dec told him.

I'm surprised that Gemma isn't getting that much coverage (I bet she is too!) and I think J might be a dark horse and win.

Oh, we watch!!! But I was too embarrassed to post anything!! ;) DH loves it. But he mostly loves Ant & Dec (it's a Geordie thing, is all I can say about that!).  He's feeling the Janice love and Lynn hate though.

I was shocked Mark went out at first. But I guess he's a love rat, now.

Don't be embarrassed!!! I'm so glad I'm not alone!!

I'm feeling the Janice and Lynne hate. Ugh. Cannot stand those two! They deserve to be locked up together alone for 24 hours. Now that would be a good bushtucker trial!

I have to say that I was really rooting for Marc and Cerys (love her!). They were my top reason for watching, so I'm pretty disappointed that he's out. Now my hope is that the show won't let him leave Australia and fly back to London, and that Cerys will be voted out tonight ... and they'll be together at that lovely hotel! I do feel a bit bad for the girlfriend, but not enough.

The girlfriend seemed a bit OTT flying out to Australia though... he did look genuinely gutted. I loved when the fireworks were going off and he couldn't muster a smile for the cameras - looked like he was going to cry!

I hate John and Rodney far more than Janice and Lynne!  It's Victor Mildrew and a Male Chauvinist pig!

I've always had a tiny crush on John Burton Race.

I did watch his French series a few years ago with his family. Now he says he's divorced???  He had a sweet wife.. But he just seems unbeilevably hostile on that show...

I saw the French one, too. But wasn't she a bit of a drama queen and the 'one in charge'? I can't recall now. Maybe I'm mistaking her with Laurence Llewellyn Bowen's wife? I saw his Devon show, too, where I thought he was currently based.

I was surprised he's doing this show tbh. He's doing loads of TV now.

  ??? ;D

But I have to say that I'm really enjoying watching those two too...i get that they're male chauvinists but the way they're handling Janice and Lynn is just fantastic to watch.

Cerys looked just genuinely upset when Mark left.  It's a shame if he's forever branded a love-rat...he took it a little far but by all accounts he's a very tactile person with everyone...I think it was more of a crush on her side than his?

That's weird because I thought it was much more on his part. There were times when he was lying next to her in the hammock, and she just looked really uncomfortable with it all. But maybe that was just because of the cameras.

I suppose my opinion has been influenced a little by what his friends are saying...so i'm more convinced that he's like that (to a lesser extent) with everybody.  But Cerys seemed more intense?

Hard to explain...but she reminded me of when I was 13yrs old on a school trip and me and this guy had a 'romance' but he had a girlfriend at home (i know scarlett woman!) so it had to be kept secret so everything was about eye contact and intense stares at each other when other people were around???

I'm not explaining it well, but she just seemed more into him.  I can understand why, he was a cracking guy, really nice to be around I'll bet.

Anyhoo...I was totally gobsmacked that the bottom two didn't include Lynne, I'm going to have to start voting!!!

I KNOW!!! Actually the friend I was watching with and I both thought Jemma would go. She doesn't really say or do much. As annoying as Lynne is, I think people want to keep her in for the drama. There's no drama with Jemma. But then that's honestly why I thought they'd want to keep Marc and Cerys together. Drama! Love the drama!

I guess all the boys haven't had their quota of bikini shower shots, and the girls all remember her from Hollyoaks...there's always one that flies under the radar!

I missed the eviction last night - though I see it was Katie that went.  She had that smile pasted on her face when her name was called out. She must've known she was going?  I hated her on the Apprentice but she seemed to keep quiet on this show and not be too ballsy.

I did think the Marc interview a bit annoying, much as I think he's okay. How can he say he's in love with two women?  It sounded as if he'd made up his mind to go for Cerys and let the girlfriend down as gently as possible.  I think his "little Gianni" is ruling his mind here at the moment..... Can he really think he's in love with someone he's known a week, even if the time spent was 24/7???????????????

Anyone watching? I cracked up when Janice had a go at Ant & Dec during her trial!!

I think Biggins will win but I don't really like him.
