Hi Shala. Have a great trip!
As for the cheese on McDonald's burgers, you won't see much of a difference. The same with Burger King. It's the other burger places you have to watch for. A typical restaurant here might put shredded aged cheddar (unmelted). That really doesn't appeal to me.

Mind you, I've been to two restaurants in Florida where their idea of a KID'S cheeseburger had Swiss on it!  :P

Oh, Stilton on a burger - that is lovely!

I love stilton on anything, mind you...and my husband who isn't a big stilton fan loves the white stilton w/apricots in it!   :D

Oh that one is good too Peedal!  Have you tried a stilton pate?  Take stilton at room temp and blend it with crushed walnuts in a food processor and use one of those hand blenders ones.  Serve with toast points, crackers or nice baguette and some sliced pear.

Ladymoon -don't worry this way you can learn about new cheeses.

I see cheese - lots of cheese - in my future!

We are SUCH a cheese family - for Christmas last year my youngest asked for and got a parmesan cheese grater like they have at the Italian restaurants!!   ::)
