Important! - Advocacy Poll Re: Raising Age to Marry and Sponsor

Currently, the Advocacy Team is working on a consulation released last week pertaining to "Marriage to Partners from Overseas". In order to ensure that any response we make reflects the overall views of UK-Yankee we are asking that as many people as possible respond, either with a vote and input or even just a vote.

I believe you have to have so many posts to be able to view the board it is on. I can't at the moment remember how many that is though.

Ah, well, this ought to get me there, then. 

Can I ask that people who think this change is a good thing go in and post there reasons.  I think it is important to have comment from both sides of the argument in order to be able to submit a good, impartial response.

The question attracts emotive responses from both sides.  Nobody agrees.  Even the advocacy side is split down the middle.

It's an emotional topic.  Tristessa's poll is really the only way to get a handle on what the sentiment here is.
