Newcastle restaurant recommendations?
« on: December 11, 2007, 10:01:43 PM »
We're going to be in Newcastle for the day probably on the 22nd. DH and I are very poor but want to have an enjoyable but not too pricey lunch or dinner as our Christmas gift to each other.

Anyone have any recommendations? Anything but Chinese is ok by us!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Heartbreak Soup on the Quayside.  See www.heartbreaksoup.com for menu and prices.  Great location, good service, not expensive (but not that cheap either, sorry!), but well worth it.  Enjoy!
