I posted this last month that my FLR(M) was denied because I was switching from a student visa to a spousal visa and they said I should have switched immediately and not waited. I rebooked my appt and went this morning, and after another lecture about how I should have switched after my wedding (in the US) before I reentered the UK (despite at that point having a year left on my student visa) and proof that I had actually been a student this past year they approved me! I am so, so happy!
And for what it's worth, all they looked at was:
-Marriage Certificate
-Application
-Both Passports
-3 months of bank statements
-Letters from my University
Nothing else, no wedding info, no payslips from my husband, no lease for our flat, nothing.
3.5 hours later I am finally allowed to be here for the next 2 years!
