Betty's Cookery School
« on: December 20, 2007, 10:35:48 PM »
Okay, I don't make money for doing this, just to start off.

I went for the second time to Betty's Cookery School today and all I have to say is it's worth every penny!!! I got it for Christmas last year and went in Jan or Feb and I got one again for my birthday and went today. I had a fabulous time cooking, learning so many new things and eating really good food. Let's just say I finally learned how to cook with flavor, the food all tastes as good if not better than high quality restuarant food. :D

I also treated myself to a new pan that's professional grade and I cannot wait to use it at Christmas dinner.  ;D

So anyone thinking about a great gift or if you get some money for Christmas and like cooking or want to learn more about cooking, sign up at Betty's, it's a day well spent.

Wow, I just checked out the prices, not cheap!  I used to attend cooking classes back home and they were so fun (and helpful!).  Only $20 for a 4-hour weekend session.  I really wish they had something like that here in Birmingham.

Thats fantastic! I love taking cooking classes. A few years back some friends and I took some cooking classes at our local college, we took a 12 week course in Pacific Rim Cooker and another 12 week course in Italian Cooking. We only paid £40 for the entire course and we had to bring out own meat (although they always had some for us) I loved it!

The new Betty's cookbook sounds good. Does anyone have it?

I'd love to go to cooking classes! I'm pretty good at baking, but sometimes my cooking skills are lacking.
