Moving Back to the US
« on: January 01, 2008, 08:27:14 PM »
Hi guys,  wasn't sure where to put this.   My husband and I were discussing moving back to the US since we have a baby on the way.  I know all I have to do is move back since I'm a US citizen, but my husband is a UK citizen and we're unsure how visas work the other way around.

Can anyone help with this?  Thanks!

First of all, take a look at some of the threads in this section (Repatriation). There are several threads that will help you get started. Also go visit

Which was set up by a UKY member who is now back in the US.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Your starting point should be here to determine if you eligible to file through the visa section of the Embassy in London. You should also check out uscis.gov.

Another forum you might consider visiting is visajourney.com.
