Julian Graves 1/2 price sale
« on: January 04, 2008, 06:20:50 PM »
Hiya...

I was in my town centre today and Julian Graves was having a 50% off everything sale until Monday. I don't know if the sale is for all the stores, or just the one in my town. But with the entire stock being 1/2 off it's worth a visit or phone call to your local Julian Graves if you like their products.

I got honey roasted peanuts, Japenese rice crackers, yogurt covered raisins, dried apricots, chocolate covered peanuts and a bottle of water for a fiver.  :)
What if the Hokey Pokey is what it's all about?

Cool thanks! I'll pop in when I'm in town tomorrow. They have such yummy snacks but I don't buy them often because they are quite expensive normally.

That's interesting. I asked too and they told me yesterday was probably the last day, they were waiting for their Head Office to ring and tell them. Must be different in each store, maybe it depends how much stock they shift. The store here was pretty empty, they were chucking stuff on the shelves and people were pulling it straight off. I felt really sorry for their staff trying to keep up!

I was in town the other day and they had just opened a new store on the High Street.  It was gorgeous, but I didn't notice a sale there.  (A few things, but not everything was marked down)

I think I'll look at the Guildford one today to see if there is still a sale.

Thank you for the tip ;D

If you go, get the dark chocolate covered cranberries, they are so yummy! I only got one bag and they're nearly all gone already.

If memory serves, the Julian Graves here (in the same building where I work) nearly always has a sale on.  I tend to give the store a wide berth -- less to be tempted by & unfortunately - I find plenty to eat (and then some) elsewhere!  Plus, one of the American women that works with me gets stuff there quite a bit & gives me the occasional 'fix'. :P

I know they do usually have a few specials but I've never seen them have a sale like this where everything is reduced by 50%.  But like you, Carolyn, I don't go there a lot to avoid the temptation of their less healthy snacks!

Especially cos I see the store every day that I go to work -- once I break this resolve & crack, I'd be in there all the time!

There's a kiosk in the train station near my work, so I'm going to stop in tomorrow and see what I can get :)
