Found: Hershey's Chocolate Syrup - Costco, Lakeside

We went for our coffee stock up and across the aisle were 48 oz twin packs for £4.49. I just jumped up and down and pointed until I was joined and the precious nectar was placed in the cart.
Other locations keep your eyes peeled. Near Lakeside, get them while you can.

Wow! Now I wish I hadn't introduced my son to Golden Syrup on Ice Cream last night!
I might buy some next time I go!! Yay for Chocolate Milk!!!

Sweets from Heaven at Lakeside carries Hershey syrup year round. I can't remember what they sell it for.

The Reading Costco also has the two packs of Hershey's Chocolate Syrup.

Can you get a day pass for Costco??

We are going across to the UK the second weekend in Feb and wondered how you got to get into Costco..

David is a government employee..IOM gov..........???

I think you can sort of take a tour, but I'm not sure you can buy anything if you're just checking it out. That said, if he's a govt employee, you might just want to buy the membership and shop til you drop that day. I think the fee is 35 quid, which you'll undoubtedly save by their prices if you buy a fair amount. Plus you can get all the American goodies!

They don't do day passes like Sam's Club would do, but since your DH qualifies as a government employee he'd need to bring along his work ID, recent payslip and a recent utility bill to sign up.  Its just under £30 with VAT.  A few pointers with Costco are: you can use your membership at any of their stores worldwide (even if you move back to the states) and they have a money back guarantee (if at any time during your first year you're not happy you can request a refund of your membership).   ;)
