About damn time you checked in!  ;)  :-*

I've been sleeping!!! ;D

And, I'm embarassed to admit it, but I just bought his version of "Hello" off iTunes.  Oh, the shame....

I hope you all remember that I said I liked dread boy WEEKS ago. ;)

But you also said you liked Danny! :P

Hmm.  I suppose I'll let it slide this time. :)

And even though I like dreadboy, his lack of blinking kind of weirds me out.

Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. Simon actually said it's one of his favourite songs and that was one of the best performances of it!!

I haven't heard it yet, but that must be blaspheme.  Hallelujah is one of the most butchered songs around but sung right (Rufus Wainwright [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] ) it is earth shatteringly good.

Jason looked so pretty when he sang that song, and I don't mean in a fem way like Tainted Love boy.  I was impressed.

Don't worry, LOL, I checked out his MySpace page hoping I could get it off there for free!  ;D

His whole "aw shucks" thing is getting really old.  I know it's probably genuine, but even still it makes me want to give him a smack upside the head.  To be fair, I felt the same way with Melinda last year.  I know the humility is genuine, but it grates on little ol' cynical me. ;)

As much as I couldn't stand Danny, I was horrified that I actually liked his version of tainted love!  :o  I liked Luke for awhile but he was awful this week. Good choices on who was booted off. I couldn't stand that Kady and boy was she out of tune when she sang for the last time!

I loved David Cook this week.

The Lennon/McCartney songs will be interesting. I can hear Amanda singing something like "Revolution." She looked so much better this week. But I wish she'd stop looking down at the stage when she sings.

I finally watched it last night!! HALLELUJAH, indeed!! That pretty much sums up how I feel about giving Danny Noriega the boot! WOOOHOOOP!!!

OK. I love David Cook. I always have. David Cook and Brooke. She's lovely. Dread boy? Meh. He's OK, but not that good, in my opinion. He sang a fantastic song, but that doesn't mean he's fantastic. Meh. That's all I can say. Men.

But I can scarcely believe that horrible Danny Noriega is gone!! It's like Christmas come early!! All I can conclude is that he annoyed as many other people out there as he did me. Hah!

And why do the women keep singing male vocal songs??

I remember several years ago, the judges were all whining (as usual) about song choice. And they all said that it makes a song much more interesting if a woman is singing a song usually associated with a man. So I guess they've all taken that a bit too much to heart.

Ah, but it means he's capable of thinking outside the box and choosing less popular songs because they're actually good songs rather than choosing faff because they were big hits....  ;) I can just see that little twit David Archipelago saying "Leonard Cohen?? Never heard of him. Phil Collins? Celene Dion? Sign me up!"

What she said! :D

I'd also like to say now that anyone who chooses to sing "Yesterday" should be automatically voted off.  Yes, I'm talking to YOU David Archie-whatever.

My daughter loves him!  He can sing though which is why I like him too.

Hate dread locks guy and I haven't been able to differentiate between the blonde girls yet.

Like the aussie but as soon as he talks, he ruins his mystique.
