Hee! I haven't read TWOP yet ... I have to stay away from it until after the results show airs here, and then by that time I've usually forgotten about it!

You must go read it!  They are cracking me up like crazy this season.

I hated Chikezie but I loved his performance so now I like him.

Love David Cook.

Hate, hate hate that Ramielle chick

Don't like dread-lock boy.

The rest of them are forgettable.

TWOP is a riot, I can't wait for the recaps each week.

Terrific: Chikeze, Carly, David Cook, Amanda, and Brooke

Ugh: Kirsty Lee Cook, Ramiele, Dread Boy, David H

I didn't like Brooke at first. But she's really grown on me. There's something really honest about her -- she seems very smart and professional. She looks like she belongs on stage.

I absolutely loved David Cook's version of "Eleanor Rigby."

My favorite of the girls is Carly, the Irish chick with the tattoos.  Of the guys, I like David Cook, Michael and Jason.  Not real impressed with the girls this season.

Boo. I wish country girl had gone home.  :(

But I've figured out who Jason Castro reminds me of. Peewee Herman with dreads.

I absolutely agree I thought Amanda was much better than Kristy Lee Cook in my opinion  [smiley=disappointed.gif]  another reason I like Amanda is because she is from Indiana like me. ;D

I was very upset at the outcome! There were far worse performers than Amanda.

Newsflash: I'm going to enter the American Idol Songwriting contest. Yes, really. Me, and about 10,000 other people... 8)

I don't care for the country chick but realistically, Amanda sounds the same in all of her songs.

I agree. Of the bottom two, I think the country girl should have gone home, but I really think the worst was ... Ramiele? Is that how you spell it? Man, she is such a bad singer. I don't even know how she made it through boot camp!  :o

Amanda sounds the same in all of her songs.

But, to me, that's OK. I like her voice, so I'm fine with her having a distinctive sound and sticking to it. After all, it didn't do Bob Dylan any harm!  ;)

I'm glad that Amanda stayed true to who she was and didn't try to conform to the AI mold. It made me laugh when she said, "Ballads are boring." That was the kiss of death, I think!

Dh & I totally agree we don't like Ramiele either.  neither of us can figure how she got through  [smiley=inquisitive.gif]  an car boy didn't or the guy who wanted to be governor of his State the one Simon wanted to go through in the final stages before the live show.  ::)

I really liked Amanda's voice Dh said she was a 1 trick pony I didn't care I liked her style. ;D  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]  Dh said last night I cant understand what she is singing half the time I said I don't have any trouble understanding what she is singing.

Totally agree 100%. I'm really irritated by the decision....  >:(

You arent the only one who is irritated by the decision. >:(  [smiley=shout.gif]

Honestly, one could argue that all the contestants consistantly sound the same.  Whenever they try to go out of their comfort zone is usually when distaster strikes (Hear that Michael?  Stop trying to be deep and just sing!).  Unless you're Kristy Lee Cook - I doubt she even HAS a comfort zone!

Kristy Lee is this year's Haley Scarnato.  Remember her?  Wonder if Ms. Cook's skirts are going to keep getting shorter the closer she gets to doom...
