I just emailed the Clarendon regarding reserving the room.  If I don't hear back from him in a day or two, I will call.  Once that's in place, I will put the reservation in for Loco Mexicano for a couple hours after.

I hope this all goes well, because I am looking forward to this. :)

Ok, reservation's good at the Clarendon.  I told him around 2:30 or 3.  This gives us a few hours to discuss the book/chit chat.  What time should I make the reservation for Loco Mexicano?  5? 5:30?

So far I have:
Karrit
Moggs
Mr. Moggs
Mort
Forensic_Kim
Aless (?)

Anyone else?

I'm a definite - you can take the question mark off! (about 2/3 the way through the book now...)

Think pianohouse & I will likely stay for dinner, too - especially if it's Mexican, yummmmm.

I really want to come. I need an excuse to finally get out and meet people outside DH's circle of friends. But we might have a family do that day in Brighton. Should know by the end of the week. If I can't make it this time, I'll definitely try to be there next time. Is it okay to bring DH? He won't participate in the book club, he'll probably hang out at the bar downstairs and then tag along for dinner. I just thought it would be easier to have him there to ease my nerves. I know, I sound like I'm twelve!

Will definitely let you know, Moggs. I'm kind of hoping our family thing isn't till Sunday because I have really been craving Mexican food!

Moggs, Thanks for all the work you have done regarding the meeting space for our club!  I know we all appreciate it.  Can you add Mr. Karrit to the list for dinner at Loco Mexicano.  Should we say 2:30 to start arriving, introducing, getting drinks, etc and the discussion to start 3ish?  Then dinner 5:30?

Blue_iris2002, as Moggs said, please bring the DH along.

S0 excited about this!

Seems like most people (including me) have their significant others coming!  Sometimes people's other halves post on the boards (like mine) and sometimes they don't, but I do know they're always invited along :-D.

Hi everyone

Please count me in for the book club but I won't be able to make the dinner afterwards.

Really looking forward to it!

Moggs, DH and I will be able to make it to the discussion (he won't actually be participating as he hasn't read the book), but we will have to miss dinner as we'll be catching a train to Brighton that evening. Hope that's okay. I wish we could be there for dinner because I am really craving Mexican food. Damn these pregnancy cravings. I want to eat everything! Looking forward to it, though.

Going to make the reservation for the restaurant this weekend.  Sorry I didn't get the chance to do it today as I planned, but my schedule was thrown due to a family emergency.  I will post when it's all set.
