[MERGED]: Heath Ledger Dies/Dead

What a sad end to a beautiful, young, and talented person....yet again.  A Knight's Tale is one of my favorites in my collection.   :\\\'(

Batman is due out this year, it's finished. He was in the middle of another film, though.

I only found out about this because BBC was showing some of the papers and I saw Heath's name on a sidebar. They didn't even mention it!

How very tragic. He was on his way to greatness.

I was also thinking of when River Phoenix died.  :\\\'(


Although we don't yet know the circumstances surrounding his death whether it was deliberate or intentional we do know he wasn't a big fan of media attention and despised the paparazzi therefore I was very surprised and saddened to see this mans body brought out on a gurney in front of all those flashing cameras.    Why didn't they set up a medical examiners van out front as a decoy and bring him out the back?

Heath Ledger was an extremely talented actor.  The world mourns.  :\\\'(

He was the perfect choice for Joker in Batman.

I adored Heath.

My 19 yo daughter got on the phone immediately to all her friends. She adored Brokeback Mountain.

I don't even know what to say.  This is just so sad.

This is truly sad and I am sure that we will never know what really happened.  If it was an accident or not.  I feel terrible for his whole family.  Apparently, he was a very nice and down to earth guy.  A major talent and a terrible loss.

At least they covered him.  But I agree with you, he should have been removed out of the view of the press.

apparently it is being reported that he had pneumonia at the time, and it was accidental overdose. He had been ''very into his current character'' role and hadnt been getting more than 2 hrs a night for a week. This is so sad! I cannot imagine trying to tell a 2 year old that daddy is gone....I had a very restless night actually. kept thinking about it. :\\\'(

Oh no! It sounds like in sleep deprived/pneumonia delerium he took too many pills.  That is terrible!
