People work their way up the system, some with a sound education both at home and at school others work hard and try and get a boost up the ladder that way, my wife and I have noticed how the boys come home with all sorts of interesting info on the work they are doing and all appear to be coming along well, they are all well rounded and behave well (mostly) our oldest has always said he want to go to uni, our advice to him is work hard and learn as much as you can both in school and out of school, he is involved in 5/6 clubs and school clubs, and is an active member of all of those clubs, his school reports are fab and the teachers have high hopes for him, we just wish for him to follow his choice of career and enjoy his life and for him to work hard, so far he does and he is.

School is great for those who can get through the system, but for some it can be hard, and a child may not always get what they require to help them on into adult hood and a great career, like my wife she enjoyed travel and then being a mother and now she is studying she finds it hard but she keeps going, no matter what adversity is put in her way and she finds it hard due to having had a head injury when she was younger and her memory can be terrible, but today the college she goes to finally realised why that was, and we hope it will help her continue to achieve her goals now and in the future, and if she can do it anyone has the ability to achieve, we may not be perfect but thats were getting a good teacher helps both as a young child and an adult, a good teacher sees each child or person and sees the quality that they can bring out, seeing that person do well is something to be proud of and it shows a real tallent, even the worst student young or older can have potential it takes a special person to see it and draw it out.

Freud is this who you where on about Vicky. I agree the one thing I do have to say is I love English writers old and new. I have a BA and Masters in psychology and counseling.
