Ideas for Skype dates?

I lived for four months with a pair of headphones attached to my head.  Our skype was also set to auto answer.  I have to now get used to sleeping without the headphones on.  It was so reassuring to wake in the middle of the night to hear his breathing and know that he was right there.  I couldn't have survived without Skype

We watch movies a lot together, or surf the internet together.   But (here comes the nerdery) we mostly play Second Life together.   It's a 3D world where you can make a little avatar and walk around and do stuff together.   We have a little virtual house and we build things for in it.    We can sit on our digital couch and talk (like skype but with more to look at) and we can even dance together, or go out with other people we know.  I can make him a present and leave it on our table.   I can't do that with Skype!

And ok, it's a "game" and it's dorky, but you know what?  It lets us do so many things we couldn't do just in a chat window,

Lovely!  The hubby and I played World of Warcraft together when we were apart! (we still do together LOL)

you could play pogo games together, too.  I never do, but my mom plays all the time and I know each room has a chat window in it.  There's tons of games in there, from cards to arcade games.   Kind of nice to do SOMETHING together and still be able to talk.
