I started watching first episode last night, got about 30 mins in and deleted it off my Sky+ along with the others I had.
Thought it was poor....I know they were setting the scene with the characters of the family but it just seemed too contrived to me, and I was already hating every character!

Thank you.  Reading the description they sounded hateable, but I am still curious.

I saw the first episode and loved it! I don't know if the rest of the series will stand up, but it certainly sucked me in!

No, no, sorry!  Bad use of vocab on my part - I meant 'pulled' in reference to the writers' strike... I don't know that it's actually been CANCELLED.  My bad.

I looked at TV.com and it's still OK.  So worth getting into then.  No return date though, so your mom will have to wait.

I think it's worth watching for the acting alone - Donald Sutherland, Peter Krause, etc. Brilliant!

We're enjoying the show. It's a little predictable, but slick and fun and some very good actors. I wouldn't be put out if it got canceled, though.
