We're in London, and so not sure if this applies to you.. but filtering the water for tea makes it so much better.  (I can't stand the way it looks otherwise). More fans of Twinings Classics Lady Grey, here. We leave the bags in the water for about 30 seconds.. I drink it black, the guy likes milk in his.  The cat likes her tea with milk, too.

I love Tetley's calming tea. I'd also suggest going down the green tea route, esp if you are dieting. No need for sugar or milk.

I first tried rice tea in Ukraine of all places and fell in love. It's green tea mixed with fried brown rice (and it tastes much much better than I'm making it sound, and smells absolutely divinely.) I drink it with a packet of Equal, but it tastes good with or without. I found it as Genmaicha in Whittard and they had it both bagged and loose.

That sounds really good. I love Matcha tea made with milk and a bit of honey. It's like a green tea latte.

Okay, not a tea, but maybe dandelion coffee would work for you...http://www.laneshealth.com/products/index.cfm?ccs=194&cs=389

It's caffeine free and naturally sweet(ish).  You don't need to add sugar, and I don't add milk.  Usually.  It's tasty, and I genuinely like it.  But it's not coffee. ;)  You can buy it at most health food stores--my little health food store always has it in stock.

Darjeeling is very nice black or lightly sweetened.  It's not an overly strong tea.  In fact, it's rather delicate.  But the taste is really complex and it is my favourite tea of all time.

For herbal, I've stumbled upon a Twining tea that's called "Spicy Apple Chamomile".  Back home, I used to drink Traditional Medicinals ginger tea.  It was very strong ginger (meant to help upset stomachs), but I love ginger.  It's right up there with avocados and olives for me. ;)  I haven't been able to find anything quite a strong here (or any Traditional Medicinals for that matter), but I do drink Twining "Ginger Lemon" which is good but overly strong.  In fact, I am drinking a cup now.

Green and white teas were a big thing for me last year, but I hated them before I learned to make them properly.  You can't boil the water and you have to steep it really quickly.  A lot of people get turned off by stewed green tea.

Oops, meant Matcha. It's powdered green tea. It's also really nice for baking.

Bit of useless trivia: they use Matcha in the Japanese Tea Ceremony.
And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
"Thank you for being a friend!"

LOL!!   I did the same thing!  I looked at Genmaicha, which is what Mort had called it.

I've just looked at the Julian Graves website to see if they sell dandelion coffee, but they don't. Do any of the other chains sell it? We don't really have any health food shops here.
