LOST - Season 4 ***(SPOILERS!!!!)***
« on: February 05, 2008, 04:28:42 AM »
Meanwhile, back on the island...

I get very frustrated and annoyed with this show, but obviously not enough to stop watching.  And they've pulled me in again with the hook of flash-forwards; I'm interested to see what paths they each take that leads them to the glimpses of what we've seen (Why can Jack NOT cope?  Why did Hurley freak out so bad and run from the cops?  If Charlie's dead, why did the other guy at the mental hospital see him?  Who's Kate with?  Who died that caused Jack try to commit suicide?), BUT...  what I find anNOYING is:

WHY DOES NO ONE ASK THE OBVIOUS QUESTIONS?????

"They are not who they say they are!"

Then, the question would be:

A)  "Then WHO ARE THEY?"

or

B) "Really?  WHY DO YOU SAY THAT??  HOW DO YOU KNOW?"

Alas, no.

Instead of cleverly woven dialogue to go with a cleverly woven story, we get more b*tch-slaps and interruptions.

I think it's good story, bad dialogue.
I really don't care anymore about how there is an invisible guy in a house who needs help that only certain people can see.
I'd still like to know what/who the monster/steam/ball&chain/killing machine is, but, I will live if I never find out.

And I think I'll start a drinking game for every time Juliette smirks.  She seems to do that in EVERY scene, regardless.

And yet... I cannot wait for next week.

I remain a faithful watcher, if ONLY to see Penny and Desmond reunited.  [smiley=smitten.gif]

Naveen Andrews was interviewed on the radio yesterday. The DJ was an avid fan and had loads of questions and he was completely NOT INTERESTED. Doesn't watch the show ever, only reads HIS lines... doesnt know what the bears or black smoke means and doesn't care! It made me titter.... he doesn't even like living in Hawaii and misses LA. He's not a well man..   :P

It wasnt as exciting a season opener as the past three have been.. I thought Jack, IRL, had lost a lot of weight as he looked rather gaunt.

And I can't remember what happened to the rest of the Others, apart from Ben. Did they all get off the island last year? It's been six months - I can't remember anything.

i refuse to believe that the lovely little mancunian hobbit is dead.

no no no no no no no no no no no no!!!!!!!!!

but if he is dead, can i just point out that he had the mental capacity--while drowning--to put the apostrophe in the correct place in the phrase he scrawled onto the palm of his hand? 98% of the undrowned in this city can't seem to manage that! you rock my ass, charlie!!!  ;D

Well, he's off the show....at least for this season. He may be resurrected later... Naveen was saying how much he missed him, being the only other Englishman on the show (and I guess Desmond is a poor substitute!)

I didnt care for him, but his death was very upsetting.. spelling aside  ;)

So...???

Still a bit irritating... why is Locke holding people 'prisoner'?  Is he afraid if they leave, others will come back to get him and force him to go?  Why can't the people who want to leave, leave?

Claire seems to have gotten over Charlie pretty quickly...and does the new twist with Kate mean she (Claire) will not be one of the 'Oceanic 6'?

Can someone please just reveal who the f*ck Ben IS???!?!?!  That's REALLY getting on my nerves.

And now the helicopter has disappeared.  Though we know some of them survive.  And by god, Des better be one of them.

This season is much better then season 3, and not just because I am still pissed that Charlie is dead.  Bring Charlie back!!!!!!

Well, I think from the Hurley episode, we are very likely to see Charlie again.

Heck, you're mourning him a lot more than Claire!
Perhaps that will arise in a later episode about her.

I thought last night's episode of Lost was one of the best episodes I have seen in a while I agree this season has been the best season so far in my opinion. I had a few tears myself.

Told ya!
;)

They WILL be together... no way would the producers change that outcome; they'd have too many p*ssed off fans methinks.

Good episode. Desmond is lovely with or without long hair.... I don't really find their love story very riveting but at least someone has a consistent romance on the show.. (unlike Sawyer v Kate v Jack)

I think the next episode deals with Juliet....
