Excellent episode!  Really moving. I think the love between Jin and Sun is very touching.. and I like how his character has changed. He and Sawyer seemed to have done the most growing..

And what a cute baby  :D

Anybody seen last week's episode yet? It's the last pre-strike episode.Lots of questions-I'll wait until people start posting so I don't spoil anything...

What I can't remember though, is, how is Ben Alex's father? It's referred to all the time. Rousseau is the mom, and the Others stole her, right? Wouldn't she have told Alex by now that Ben wasn't her real dad? Why is the charade still going on?

I thought he was her natural father??? Though I cant see those two together...
Edited:  You're right. From Wikipedia

According to Danielle's descriptions: When she and her crew shipwrecked on their route from Tahiti, there were six total who survived, including a pregnant Danielle. The rest of her team eventually died in an area she referred to as "the dark territory," including Montand, who lost his arm, Brennan, who "took the keys", and Robert, her lover whom she killed because he had "the sickness". Danielle eventually gave birth to a baby girl she named Alex. Alex was then abducted by The Others soon after.

Maybe Alex knows but as Ben has raised her, she considers him Dad?

I thought the last episode was rather anti-climatic....I wasnt too interested in Michael anyway, though it answered some questions.

I was disappointed with that one - I don't CARE anymore WHO is not trusting WHOM, and all the bloody conjecture.  Who can we trust?  Is he good or bad?  I didn't give a toss about any of that.
"You're name's not Kevin"  Creepy Miles.  Whatever.

Trust the captain.
Don't trust the captain.
No, trust the captain.
No, wait, don't trust the captain.

I'm tired.

And looking forward to a new episode, since they repeated Hurley's flash forward this week.  >:(

What makes no sense to me(amongst lots of things) is this: if Michael was so guilt-ridden about what he'd done as to be ready to commit suicide, why not save his friends first? Why not try to redeem himself with Walt by doing something(before Mr Friendly intervened)? Why he had to keep his mouth shut and not let the world know they were on the island still, I don't understand. Sure, he would have gone to jail for killing Ana and the other girl, but HE WAS GOING TO KILL HIMSELF ANYWAY!They have a lot of 'splaining to do still.

The ONLY, and not well substantiated answer I can come up with - Michael was never a sound guy to begin with.  He left them all on the island not knowing what would happen to them, so why try to do anything now?
He's always been kind of a 'giver-upper' y'know?  He finally fought for his son, and now that's gone.

AND WE'RE BACK.

And we have some more answers.

And a very interesting episode.

And I thought Charles Widmore was British, no?  His NZ accent was quite clear tonight!

Better NOT TOUCH PENNY, or I'll come after Ben myself!!!

Did anyone see the season finale? I thought it was great.. even welled up a bit in a couple of parts... The actor playing Ben is just sublime. ;)

I didnt think the ending a big surprise, but I have definitely come to the conclusion that no one is going to be allowed a happy ending on this show. And after seeing the two smug creators interviewed, i'm even more convinced.

I did.  I LOVED IT!!!!!  I was crying like a baby :-[

I can't believe the twist this show has taken.  It's nothing like I thought it would be by the fourth season.  As far as I can tell, ANYTHING can happen now.

I can't wait for next season now.

Were you crying at the Jin bit????  I nearly was. I think the actress playing Sun was so good in that scene...

I want the next series now too but February is sooooo long off... :-X

I know Feb seems so far off :(

I really like it how Sawyer's sarcastic outer shell seems to be chipping away as he keeps showing that he really is a good guy, despite his best efforts to prove otherwise.

And if anyone likes reading a good theory on Lost, this one is really interesting: http://www.timelooptheory.com/the_timeline.html
