Orange Pekoe , Black cut tea?
« on: February 06, 2008, 06:16:54 PM »
I have been loooooking for this for a long time.

*Yank or Yankee is one of the lesser derogatory slang terms for any American, whether from New England or not.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yankee
*The Oxford English Dictionary states that one of the earliest theories on the word derivation is from the Cherokee word "eankke" for coward as applied to the residents of New England.

You don't hear me calling you a bloody brit, so don't call me a yank!
**Many people disagree with my signature**

Have you tied google? The first link I found was to Whittard in Chelsea that sells bags of Orange Pekoe tea.
And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
"Thank you for being a friend!"

Yeah I did try googling it but that was a few months ago now.
Thanks for the tip. If I get over there I am going to have to buy ten boxes hah.

I bought Orange Pekoe at Tesco too, but my local has stopped selling it.
Insert wonderfully creative signature here …

Whittard of Chelsea isn't just in Chelsea. It's a chain with shops everywhere. I'm sure there's one near you!
