Need help fast applied for spouse no biometric app!!!

Ok I just applied for my husbands spouse visa online through the ukvisa site. We got to the end and was prompted to pay online with our credit card. It never put us to a link to make a biometrics appointment which I know is required of him. We got a confirmation e-mail about the payment and on our credit card site it shows the payment authorized, but on the print out application it says PAYMENT MADE: -NO.
I'm so confused and worried now!

I have been having no luck making an application from the US since yesterday.

There is a note at the bottom of the site saying "Due to an upgrade of our payment systems we are currently unable to accept online applications for some countries. To view active countries visit the Supported Countries section of this website. This service should be available from 17:00 GMT February 11th"

First of all, sorry that I can't help you -- I have my own visa problems

But, when did you begin filling out your application? I'm curious b/c I'm really frustrated and annoyed at this situation.

I sent an email to the British consulate in NY. Maybe you can do the same? Who knows if it will help.

My husband began filling out the application online on Thursday and saved the info. Then this morning he lodded in and completed it.

So when did you start to fill it in?

I started yesterday around 3:45 GMT, then lost it halfway through at about 4:00. At that point, the website said that it would be down from 4:00 yesterday until 2:00 today. Now, it says that it "should" be down until Monday.

Who knows what that means.

I just hope I don't have to reapply and pay again just to get the biometrics appointment. I wonder if this has happened to anyone before?

Planned maintenance over a weekend is basically ok.  But if the site is going down unexpectedly, and it's longer than just a transitory server crash and reboot, please start letting us know about it.

Or if it crashes over and over, or if there's some kind of bug, we would appreciate knowing that also.

The visa4uk service, which allows applicants to complete visa applications online, will be unavailable between 1600 hours (GMT) on Friday 8th February to 1200 hours (GMT) on Saturday 9th February and again from 0900 to 1200 hours (GMT) on Tuesday 12th February.

I still don't understand why it messed up my application. I got a confirmation e-mail   grrrrrr!

One thing you are able to do in a successful application is go back and change your biometric appointment date. Maybe you should just log back in when the system is up again and see if you can do that.

I can log in now but it only gives me the option to print my completed application!

The site says that payment options won't be available until tomorrow at 17:00GMT. I think you'll just have to wait. 

I suppose so, I'm not a patient person at the best of times!

Ok so we decided to call the worldbridge number at a flat rate of $12

So the woman told my husband the only way it would skip the biometrics page was if he check marked the part that says
 "Are you under five years old"!
He says he doesn't think he did and of course would not purposely do it but it is a possibilty. So she said she would e-mail the consulate and e-mail us back!

Lets hope they can change it and let us make a biometrics appointment. We are on a timeline we have to be out of our apartment by March 31st and we were hoping to fly to England that day.
Wish us luck we can't afford to have $1062 washed down the drain.
