My Best Friend from California sent me a care package of Girl Scout cookies to my sisters house I don't remember when I last had GS cookies. ;D  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

That's so lovely and thoughtful!  :D

Not a good in the post but......

Yesterday, we got more junk mail for someone else who has never lived here (we are only the second owners for this house) for the 2nd time.

Unfortunately, there is another address exactly like ours, but in another neighbourhood in the city. The post codes aren't the same, though!  :-\\\\

Very annoying, especially when the *same* item comes back with my handwriting on it suggesting the other address or returning to sender and delete from database. Clearly Royal Mail is not literate. Grrrr. >:(

a top and a dress, both bought second-hand on eBay.  The top is a keeper, but the dress... I'm going to see if they'll refund me.

A couple days ago, but it was a free pen hubby ordered online for me. I'm a bit of a free pen junkie. The best ones are always from the doctor, bank or somewhere else free.

Malted Robin Eggs from Shugga, because she is awesome!  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

There was also a mystery package I wasn't allowed to see. Hubby has been sneaking around Amazon the past couple days, and reminding me of how long it is until my birthday. Hmm.....

Glad I could be of assistance. ;) [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] I remembered you posted that you were craving Robin eggs but Maltesers would have to do since you couldn't get any Robin eggs. Dh even asked me why I bought several bags an I said chill out there not all for me an I explained what I was planning on doing an he was cool with it. ;)  :)

My shiny red pbone came in.

I pulled it and started playing it and its great fun!   A pbone is a plastic trombone, which actually plays remarkably like a real trombone. Not perfect, but good fun. They're actually really 'hip' in the jazz trombone scene right now.

@TamaMoo - does anybody actually buy a pen?  ;)

I thought all pens were free - my favorite is an advertising pen with my former company name (I was self-employed). They wanted me to buy a bunch to hand out as....free pens!

My other preference are the pens at Holiday Inn Express - much better than other hotel chains!  ;D
Married December 1992 (my 'old flame' whom I first met in the mid-70s)
1st move to UK - 1993 (Letter of Consent granted at British Embassy in Washington DC)
ILR - 1994 (1 year later - no fee way back then!)
Back to US in 2000
Returned to UK July 2011 (Spousal Visa/KOL endorsement)
ILR - September 2011
Application for naturalization submitted July 2014
Approval received 15-10-14; ceremony scheduled for 10 November!
Passport arrived 25 November 2014. Finally done!

I have bought the occasional, truly spectacular pen, but even they don't compare to free ones.  ;D

A box, a book and an envelope have showed up at mom's. We've been ordering things and having them sent there to save shipping from here or dragging them back.

A birthday card from mom, also signed by others. I was told ahead of time it would be a few days late, but it was fun looking forward to it.
