A Valentines card from my sister not sure why it was so late she sent it in plenty enough time to get here on time though. Dh got a condolence card from my mom & sister #4 his nan past away a few weeks ago. I thought that was really nice of them to do that I'm not surprised they did it that's just what my family does. Dh's mum got a card from them as well she was really touched by there kindness mainly cause she has never met them an they sent her a card. where her own cousin who lives 40 miles away from her didn't even bother sending her card an that's her family those are her words not mine.

the Two Together railcard I ordered the other day!  Just in time for the long weekend. :)  Oh the places we'll go!

Strangely, they had put the wrong postcode on the letter (W5 rather than N5). So I was certainly pleasantly surprised that Royal Mail was able to deliver it to me!

Thinking about getting one in the autumn.

We are waiting for the Breaking Bad box set here. We've only seen series 1, so lots of catching up to do to get to the end.

After my bag was stolen 3 weeks ago, I had to get a new driver's license  and it arrived today from Maryland! It looks a bit crap, but that's ok!
It is difficult to speak adequately, or justly, of London. It is not a pleasant place; it is not agreeable, or easy, or exempt from reproach. It is only magnificent... the biggest aggregation of human life, the most complete compendium in the world.

The free sample of a high quality, moderately expensive bird food I sent for a few days ago. Not only were they prompt, but the free 'sample'  is two kinds from their range, and about three weeks' worth of food. I am impressed by it, and Joey loves the one I have given him. I will try the other tomorrow.

Husband got a check for $110 from his stock photography. It was for one specific photo he took of a row of London cabs. Go figure! My 18-year-old received his very first "voter registration" card so I'm taking him tomorrow to vote for a new Houston mayor. I'm canceling his vote! My daughter got her concert tickets for a gig of 21 Pilots next May and I got nothing
