It's really nothing exciting. Just a late birthday present from my father - a tea set. But it's new, and I prefer old china. And it's pottery, and I prefer porcelain. And a couple of pieces were broken.  :-\\\\

Yeah, that can be awkward.  Maybe you can return it using the excuse that it's broken.

Maybe. I'll have to speak to him later and see what he wants me to do.

Reading this, I sound so ungrateful! And I don't mean to be. It's just that I know he went to a lot of expense (the postage alone was $55), and I would have been happier with something much smaller and lighter!
