They tried to deliver my package from my mom, but I wasn't there, and now it will take 2 business days for them to take it to the post office... grrrrrr.... and to top it all off, their stupid automated system didn't understand my yankee accent!!!!  I tried 3 times before tossing the phone to DH, and it understood him fine the first time!   :P

A surprise 100 quid voucher to Selfridges!!!  Not even a christmas gift.  A thank you gift for referring some business to a friend's company.  Totally made my day!

Lots and lots of snow! The plow truck this morning knocked our mailbox open and then filled it with snow.  And my brother's mailbox next door was knocked completely off of its post.  ::)

A jacket I won on eBay for £2 (and it looks brand new and fits well, not my favourite, but definitely worth the £4 total we spent on it including P & P) and one of DH's Christmas pressies.... oh, and a beautiful Christmas card from my mom, just for me!   ;D

YAY!!!!  I just got a huge Christmas box from my mom... in spite of the giant hole in the box (grrrr) everything is intact except the bag of Fritos she sent, which also have a huge hole in them and are all over the inside of the box.  But, I got some homemade choc chip cookies (a bit stale now, but still good!), a Texas calendar and ashtray, some jammies, a HUGE Hilshire Farms summer sausage, and loads of other goodies and stuff, but the best part were the family photos she sent of me and her and my great-grandma and all my aunts.   :\\\'(
