Yes!  An offer for the 18 year old for a Foundation course at a really good art school.  That's one less thing to worry about.

Great news, Mindy! Which school?
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

My vehicle registration sticker came in yesterday.  My daughter got a $3,000 check to help find a vehicle from her Grammy.  Her father sent her some birthday money too.

A congrats pressie from Jewlz.... thanks!  :-*

(They did attempt delivery on 6 March and DH collected it this morning from the local sorting office - the helium was still active so the balloon is now floating against the sitting room ceiling, so DH tells me!)

You're welcome!!!   :-*  Sorry you received it so late, but better late than never!  ;)

Not your fault - delivery was apparently attempted on 6 March but we didn't even receive the "While You Were Out" card til 9 March....

The helium is still going strong, I'm happy to report.

*Must take a pic while this is still the case so I can send it to you!*

Nothing good in the post for me today, I'm afraid.  Still awaiting progress on my UK passport application.   :-\\\\

Is it the Passport Office by Victoria Station?  I saw that on my way to the Book Club on Saturday.  Do you get your new passport today?

My great thing in the post today was tickets for Wimbledon!   [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

The interview office for first time applicants is at Hannibal House in the Elephant and Castle shopping centre.  Assuming I was successful (!) I'm meant to receive the new passport in the post within 4 working days, so watch this thread, haha.

Well done on your tickets to Wimbledon, this will be my 10th summer to have missed it!  Might try and do the returns thing in the evening this year though.

Awesome!  Happy day!  And the sun is still shining too!  8)  Doesn't get much better than this (well, until it's time to open that special bottle of wine we bought in Tuscany that we have been saving for a special occasion - tonight!)
